New Delhi: Tech large Microsoft on Wednesday partnered with the Union Ministry of Ability Growth and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), and Capability Constructing Fee (CBC) to boost the practical pc literacy of almost 2.5 million civil servants of the Central authorities. The mission — Capability Constructing by MSDE in Microsoft Digital Productiveness Abilities — will digitally empower them to supply environment friendly and efficient citizen-centric providers to the susceptible and underprivileged sections of society.
“Through this programme, we are aiming to empower central government employees on key digital skills and amplify the vision of Digital India,” Ashutosh Chadha, Group Head and Director, Authorities Affairs, Microsoft India. “This initiative will not only drive more productivity but will also enable ease of doing business with more digital solutions,” Chadha added.
Throughout the mission, the coaching will embody job roles corresponding to Part Officers, Assistant Part Officers, Clerks, Higher Division Clerks, Decrease Division Clerks, Underneath Secretaries, Deputy Secretaries, and equal officers at senior, junior and supporting ranges in the central authorities entities.
CBC has undertaken the capacity-building plans for the ministries of Defence, Ability Growth and Entrepreneurship, Expenditure, Finance, Social Justice, Civil Aviation, Ports and Delivery, and Labour.
As a part of the collaboration, Microsoft will develop an online, self-paced studying course on Microsoft Workplace 365 digital productiveness suite choices for MSDE, enabling MSDE to supply digital abilities coaching to the officers in central authorities ministries and departments.
“Our aim is to develop citizen-friendly and business-friendly policies. Technology has become an integral part of our everyday lives, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are now an essential component of our work life,” Rajesh Aggarwal, Secretary, MSDE, stated in a press release. “Therefore, it is imperative that our workforce is trained in these programmes, and I am certain that with this alliance, we will be able to make Mission Karmayogi, a successful scheme,” Aggarwal added.
The programs will probably be created beneath two classes — Rookies and Superior programs of 12 hours length every — and the learners could be enabled with entry to Superior course after receiving the certificates of completion in the Rookies course.
