Renowned Democratic Texas congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee has been dragged in the center of controversy after an audio tape of her has been leaked online. The alleged leaked audio recording she insulted her staff. Almost 17 curse words have been used on the staff from her. The video is spreading like wildfire on Twitter, and Reddit.

The famous publication Fox News has shown a dedicated segment on the full audio recording. It all starts when she asks one of the staff members about a piece of paper that was owned by Duncatell.

In her response one of them says that they gave the paper to Jerome, the name has been mentioned in the clip multiple times. This makes Sheila angry and she starts cussing the man with abusive words. In the audio tape Sheila Jackson Lee also mentions her staff as “f*ck ups”, saying that they serve no purpose.

As the audio recording went viral, she had to come forward and address the allegations made against her. She released an official statement that reads-

To anyone who has listened to this recording with concern, I am regretful and hope you will judge me not by something trotted out by a political opponent, that worked to exploit this, and backed by extreme Republican supporters on the very day that polls open but from what I’ve delivered to Houstonians over my years of public service.”
