A video showing a bear with a tapeworm (a kind of parasite) hanging out has been trending on the internet. In the start of the video, everything appears to be normal but as it goes ahead you can clearly see a tapeworm coming out of the bear’s fur, while the animal is walking away on the road.

Initially, the bear is lurking around the car to get some food. But soon it became clear that a tapeworm hanging behind it. As mentioned above, a video titled- bear with a tapeworm hanging out is going viral on the internet. The tapeworm must be around 30 feet long hanging from its back. At first moment, it looked like it was a spider web but soon became clear that it was a tapeworm. 

Before we understand the video more clearly, it must be noted that in the wild tapeworms and bear relationship is quite uncommon. Most of the time, bears eat salmon fish because of this they become a target of harmful hosts including parasites. 

These tapeworms are called broad fish tapeworms. Let’s find out more about them through their life cycle. Initially, they lay eggs in the forest and once they hatch they try to find a reliable host like in this case a bear. 

In some cases, these eggs are hatched in streams or rivers.
